Free training is being offered by NHS England (London) for Patients & Carers who may want to be more involved in shaping their local health and social care services. It will be delivered by WSA Community Consultants and Just Ideas.
It is ideal for those patients and carers who are keen to be more involved with NHS England (London), CCGs and PPGs in London. The training will support those who have been involved in activities such as PPGs or attended events but have not really been part of procurement panels or steering groups overseeing a significant programme of work or the development of a service.
Training will occur in groups of 10-20 individuals at a time and has been carefully designed with guidance from patient representatives to be interactive, fun and relevant with ample time allocated for networking.
The locations for the training will be across London sites between November 2016 and February 2017.
Options for taking the course include: one full day or alternatively spread across two evening sessions. Additionally, optional online modules will be launching early in 2017 and will be available to all participants to support learning.
