Integrated Urgent Care – Call Handling, Clinical Assessment Service and GP Out of Hours

Any Qualified Provider

Any Qualified Provider (AQP) is a national policy to increase choice in NHS funded services for patients and the public through widening the range of providers offering some community based services.

Service providers can apply to be a specific AQP service based on quality not price.  Patients referred to the new AQP services will be able to choose from a list of ‘qualified’ providers who meet agreed service quality requirements.

This information can be used by patients and GPs to make a decision on where they would like their care to take place.

Information about contracts that are being procured under AQP will be made available here when relevant.

The CCG is committed to actively involving patients in our procurement processes such as sitting on our evaluation panels. Opportunities to be involved will be advertised on the Get Involved section of this website.
