West London and Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Groups are responsible for designing and paying for (commissioning) local health services in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Queen’s Park and Paddington and Hammersmith and Fulham. We pay Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) to provide podiatry services to patients who have been referred for treatment by their GP.
Following a review of the CLCH podiatry service, we have taken the decision to prioritise the patients most in need by changing the eligibility criteria for podiatry services. This means that from 1 October 2017, patients with low level care needs will no longer meet the eligibility criteria for the podiatry service. Details of the eligibility service criteria are outlined further below.
