Following the closure of Parsons Walk-in Centre in March, Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group is pleased to announce the reinstatement of a service at the centre that commenced on 26 October. It has been introduced as a temporary change to the previous service whilst the Coronavirus remains with us.
Now to be called the Parsons Green Booked Clinic, it will provide a service that offers booked face-to-face and virtual appointments for Hammersmith and Fulham registered patients.
Patients will be referred to the service via a primary care triage, which could include digital consultations via E-Consult.
To maintain effective infection prevention control at the site, patients can no longer just walk in. Patients who turn up without an appointment will not be seen.
Speaking about the new arrangements for the Parsons Green Booked Clinic, Dr James Cavanagh, Chair of Hammersmith and Fulham CCG said:
“We are delighted to offer once again a service at Parsons Green under these new temporary arrangements where patients will be referred by their GP. Having the service as a booked option will ensure it is safer for patients and staff while we are still impacted by Coronavirus. We think this is the right approach for our patients and we look forward to hearing their feedback once they have used the service.”
The booked clnic will be open Monday to Friday from 8.30am-6.00pm and from 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
