In the past few weeks the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases has gone up and has now become very concerning. We need to take action now to protect our loved ones and our communities.To address the rise in confirmed cases across the country, the government has made social gatherings of more than six people illegal from Monday 14 September. The law change bans larger groups from meeting anywhere socially indoors or outdoors. It is enforced through a £100 fine for anyone failing to comply. Hammersmith and Fulham CCG recently provided a paper for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham’s Health, Adult Social Care and Social Inclusion Policy and Accountability Committee on Parsons Green Walk-in Centre. In that paper the CCG advised that there were discussions with local stakeholders to clarify the future of the Walk-in Centre. The CCG can confirm that there are no plans to close Parsons Green Walk-in Centre and that we are working with Central London Community Healthcare Trust to look at alternative ways of providing the current activity. We recognise that the Parsons Green Walk-in Centre provides a valuable local service and we wish to ensure that these services are maintained and provided in the most appropriate way. Any proposals that are put forward in the future would be subject to engagement/consultation in the usual way. .. (read more)
