Ahead of the bank holiday this weekend, patients in North West London are asked to make sure their medicine cabinets are fully stocked and they have their prescription medications. Many minor illnesses and injuries can be treated easily at home if you are prepared.
Some healthcare services will also be open for people that need advice or access to healthcare over the weekend.
Patients can book evening and weekend appointments over the bank holiday as part of the extended access scheme, please call your GP practice or NHS 111 when their own practice is closed.
Certain pharmacies will be open across the borough over the weekend and can help with advice on many common illnesses. Information on pharmacy opening times for the borough can be found here
Details of opening hours across London can be found here (hyperlink) https://www.england.nhs.uk/london/our-work/pharm-info/.
