New professional training on healthy lifestyles and obesity is now available for all those who work with children and families across Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.
Delivered on behalf of the Council by social enterprise Mytime Active, the sessions aim to encourage staff to better identify families who have become, or are at risk of becoming, overweight/obese and to enable them to provide simple guidance and appropriate signposting. Courses will ensure that frontline staff are equipped with the knowledge and activities needed to effectively help the families and children they work with.
Courses take place on Thursday 10 November and Thursday 8 December at Westminster City Hall – Room 3, 17th Floor, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP.
