The 2016 Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs) on childhood obesity and end of life care have now been published.
The childhood obesity report describes the extent and nature of childhood obesity in the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. It summarises how childhood obesity is defined, the causes and consequences of childhood obesity, the local prevalence of childhood obesity and the national and local response.
The JSNA on end of life care provides a comprehensive evidence base and information about end of life care needs of the local population to inform future commissioning intentions and strategic approach across the three Boroughs. The main recommendations and findings of the report are summarised in the key themes report. There is also a technical document which contains extensive data analysis, and a policy and evidence review which gives additional information on models of care and guidance.
